In the interest of safety, the requirements below take precedence over our normal airport rules & regulations and traffic patterns.

North 1,200 feet of runway is closed; 5,000 feet remaining.

Caution: 600’ tower 2.5 miles NW of airport & 500’ tower 3 miles SE of airport

Arrival:

  • Do not overfly airport at less than 1,600’ MSL.
  • Contact advisory on 122.9 for active runway. Limit transmissions during periods of high traffic.
  • Right hand traffic for Runway 18.
  • Straight in approaches are prohibited. Do not use Slow Aircraft (inside) Traffic Pattern or enter pattern with a crosswind entry during the Fly-In. Use Normal (outside) Traffic Pattern over N/S four-lane highway only.  
  • Only enter pattern at mid-field over golf course with a 45 degree entry from the west and fly the downwind leg at 1,100′ MSL.
  • Upon landing, exit runway just west of landing lights as follows:
    • Fixed gear and taildragger aircraft may exit runway and taxi on grass to parking.
    • All other aircraft should exit runway at a paved taxiway intersection and taxi on paved taxiway to parking.
  • Follow directions from parking advisors in vests.

Event begins at 9:30 am with coffee and Donuts. Lunch served between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm


Airplanes on static display include classics, warbirds, home-builts and antiques.

Departure

  • Contact advisory on 122.9 for active runway. If Runway 36 is active:
    • You will be directed to departure end via paved taxiway.
    • Point your tail away from houses before runup.
    • Depart at best rate of climb and turn to NW heading after reaching safe altitude and before reaching the tree line at the railroad tracks.
  • If departing area, climb to a minimum of 1,600 MSL before turning on course & avoid traffic pattern
